Can you believe that it is finally here – Compassion Week!
We have prayed, planned, and talked about this week for the last several months.
Here is what you need to know:
If you have signed up to volunteer for Eastside’s Compassion Project please arrive 15 minutes early for registration/check-in. Each adult over the age of 18 has to fill out a registration form. The packing location is at The Home Store and More on route 25 in Richmond
We have just learned that children 5 years old – 2nd grade can help with this event when accompanied by an adult. One child per one adult.
We are still in need of volunteers for Tuesday, Oct. 20th from 9-11 a.m.
Dates and Times:
Monday, Oct 19 from 6-8pm
Tuesday, Oct. 20th from 9-11 am and 6-8pm
Thursdy, Oct. 21st from 6-8pm
If you have any questions concerning the packing event please contact Vivian Wallace, Volunteer Central Coordinator
Eastside Baptist Church, firstname.lastname@example.org or 859.582.5600.
If you are going to participate in the Partial Fast for the week don’t forget to pick up your Compassion Week Cup.
We are going to end our 40 Days of Love Spiritual Emphasis and our Compassion Week with a HIGH ATTENDANCE SUNDAY. We are asking for everyone to be ALL IN on Sunday, October 25, 2009. We are going for a record attendance.
