Dear Friends,

Things are going GREAT/AWESOME here in Guatemala. It has been an unbelievable week for the 15 of us. Thank you for your prayers, words of encouragement, e-mails, and Facebook messages. All of these words of encouragements have been needed and they have felt.

I would like to ask each one of you to join me in prayer for Brooke Taulbee’s, Eastside’s Preschool Director, Father who is very ill. Ray Carpenter is critical and stands in need of our prayers. Please take a moment and pray for this dear family. Thank you.

Sunday is Eastside’s first ever homecoming event. We are celebrating 27 years of touching eternity. We have a full day of activities planned. Please be in your seats at 10:30 am on Sunday. We are starting early on Sunday. A FREE lunch will follow at Noon. I hope to see you there.

I am proud to be your pastor. I love each one of you. You are such a huge blessing to me.

Pastor V
