Does Your Organization Have a Strategic Direction?

Since 2012, Eastside has provided me with a “strategy” coach in order to develop a strategic direction for our church. Why? I am spiritual leader who never developed the competency of being a strategic planner. What are the results from investing in a strategic plan for Eastside? We have grown tremendously in total attendance. We have watched lives be changed through our intentional shepherding process and intentional leadership. We have added many new volunteers to our volunteer team. Over the years of working with our strategy coach, I decided to get certified in the StratOp Process from The Paterson Center.  I am so glad to be able to help other spiritual leaders and organizations to develop a strategy to impact society. In 3 days together, I will use 25 customized tools, to guide you and your team into the 6 phases of the StratOp process:

Planning a Strategic Direction is as easy as ….

Day One:
This process begins with finding the perspective of the current standing of your organization.

Day Two:
Clarify where you are gaining, where you are losing, what is currently confused, and where the risks and voids are in the organization.

Day Three:
We are now ready to translate our critical issues into a formal plan

Overview

The StratOp process is a strategic operating planning system for your orgnaization. It produces a balanced strategy and plan in three days (three-day on-site visit), and installs it in the weeks and months ahead. This six-phase process releases your team to lead and manage your church as a system comprised of multiple programs, ministries and functions. The StratOp process guides your team to clarify your mission, vision, and core strategies—and then to create the right structure and accountability to realize it through prioritized action initiatives.

Process

The StratOp process guides your team to manage your organization as a whole entity, not a collection of parts. Each step logically and systematically builds on the next, blending together the strategic (planning for tomorrow, today), operational (managing today, today), and financial (funding it all) aspects of your ministry.
