Dear Eastside family,
It’s a crazy, hectic, busy season with lots of parties, shopping, and Christmas programs, so I’ll attempt to make this quick. Which of course is challenging for a preacher! Remember the old joke: What does it mean when a preacher says “In conclusion…?” Not much!
- This weekend. I will continue with our Come Home For Christmas series with the title, “Connecting With God.” This would be a great opportunity for you to bring someone who is not connected with God to church with you. Remember we have 3 identical worship services: 9:30am, 11:00am and 6:33pm. 6:33pm worship service is for EVERYONE!
- Christmas Eve. What can I say? Over the years hundreds and hundreds of people have started their spiritual journey, discovered faith, or found their way back to God because someone courageously invited them to a Christmas Eve service. I wonder what God will do this year? Don’t miss the single greatest opportunity all year to invite someone to church. Invitation cards are available this weekend to use as a very personal way to invite. For a sharable social media invite – click here.
- Year-end giving. I am so thankful for all of you who have honored God with your tithes and offerings in 2014 and the many who have sacrificed for our NEXT vision. If you are planning to make year-end gifts IRS guidelines require that they be received in the Eastside office or postmarked by December 31. You can also give online by clicking here. Thanks for honoring God and believing in the vision of Eastside.
Okay, that was pretty short, right?
“Oh come let us adore Him!”
