What an awesome worship gathering we had yesterday. 350 people in attendance. WOW! I don’t know about you but DANG the SPIRIT OF GOD was everywhere. What a way to conclude our three week sermon series: RESOLVE!

I want to thank everyone who gave to the relief efforts in Haiti. Given to Date: $3,059.25. Way to go, Eastside. I will be making some recommendations to Eastside’s Business Administration Team on some possibility organizations which we can send these funds. Will let you know what they decide.

Got Baptism?  Eastside will have a baptism service on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at 10:50 a.m. If you are interested in getting baptized then please contact me at vgrant@eastside-baptist.com

Billy Compton will be our guest speaker this Sunday, January 24, 2010. Billy is awesome speaker, a wonderful man who loves God. You will really enjoy him. He spoke last year at Eastside. Everyone loved him and requested we have him back.

I will be in Madison, Wisconsin working with an association of churches. I will facilitate a workshop on Saturday. Sunday I will be preaching at a church then I conduct a workshop with their leadership. On Monday I will help facilitate another workshop then fly back home. Please be in prayer for me. Pray that God will use me to advance His Kingdom and to declare His Glory.

I will be starting a four week sermon series on the book of Ruth on January 31, 2010. I would encourage you to go ahead and start reading this wonderful love story.

I love each one of you. It’s a honor to be your pastor. I’m proud to be your pastor. I’m praying for each one of you.
